CGCC hosted a discussion on international efforts to combat terrorist financing with Michael Jacobson from the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Elizabeth Joyce from the UN Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate, and Richard Lalonde from the International Monetary Fund. They identified some of the successes and challenges in international efforts to combat terrorist financing and offered recommendations for the next U.S. administration based on lessons learned since 2001.
