This workshop for judges, prosecutors, and police officers in South Asia was the seventh in a UN-led process designed to strengthen counterterrorism cooperation and capacity in the region. The workshop focused on issues related to domestic and international cooperation in terrorism cases, and enhancing the capacity of the judiciary to adjudicate terrorism cases. The workshop was jointly hosted by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED), and organized by CGCC with the financial support of the Governments of Australia, Denmark, and the United States.
