On 4 March 2014, the Center on Global Counterterrorism Cooperation became the Global Center on Cooperative Security. The change reflects the broadening scope of the organization’s work and partnerships and a conviction that complex international security challenges require holistic, integrative responses.
In its new iteration, the Global Center looks forward to continuing to develop innovative programming on multilateral security policy, criminal justice and the rule of law, countering violent extremism, and financial integrity and inclusion.
In connection with that change, the Global Center is pleased to announce the addition of two new consultants: Arvinder Sambei and Martin Polaine. They will be leading the Global Center’s new London office and offer a wealth of experience in criminal justice and rule of law–related capacity development.
The Global Center is also pleased to announce that it will be deepening its relationships with partner organizations, including the Institute for Security Studies and the Henry L. Stimson Center’s Managing Across Boundaries project, among others.
