The fourth installment of a series of events on the presidential transition discussed enhancing cooperation to prevent weapons of mass destruction (WMD) terrorism with Richard Cupitt from the UN Security Council 1540 Committee; O’Neil Hamilton, a Visiting Fellow from the Stimson Center; and Andrew Semmel, a former official in the U.S. Department of State. The discussants considered successes and challenges in U.S. and global efforts to prevent WMD terrorism and highlighted key lessons for the new administration.
