The Global Center tailors its activities to the circumstances of the communities and regions in which we operate—particularly the needs and capacities of our partners. There is no universal solution to violent extremism, and what works in one community may be ineffective in another. We take a whole-of-society approach, drawing on the following methods:
The Global Center works to achieve lasting security by addressing the root causes, grievances, and fragile social and economic systems that give rise to violent extremism. We focus on four mutually reinforcing issue areas.
